Welcome to the Children’s Discovery Museum, located in Grand Rapids, Minnesota. The combined Children’s Discovery Museum and the Judy Garland Museum features a large collection of Wizard of Oz and Judy Garland memorabilia, the restored 1920’s Birthplace home of Judy Garland, interactive Children’s exhibits, on 2 acres in the heart of Minnesota. The attached museums have been created for all ages and have something for everyone. Come and enjoy a step back in time at the Judy Garland Museum and explore all the engaging exhibits at the Children’s Discovery Museum.

The Children's Discovery Museum is one of the only children's museums located in a rural area in a town of fewer than 10,000 inhabitants anywhere in the nation.
Our museum was one of the first Children’s Museums in Minnesota. They have grown in popularity as Minnesota is now home to more than 7 Children’s museums where all provide opportunities for children to learn about many different subjects through hands-on exhibits and experiences.
